What are you most proud of in your career so far?

I take immense pride in developing and leading my HR team. Heather, Josh, Andrew and Lalo are the Best!

What is your favorite thing about working at OMT-Veyhl?

It’s all about the people! Our dedicated production team at OMT-Veyhl works very hard and they are the backbone of our company. I find great satisfaction collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team, and I feel honored to lead such an exceptional HR Team.

What does it mean to you to help the company?

In my role, supporting OMT-Veyhl involves focusing on attracting, retaining and taking care of our most important asset: our people. Central to this is cultivating a workplace culture that embodies our C.R.E.A.T.E values (Committed, Respectful, Explorative, Authentic, True and Engaged). By creating a workplace where employees feel valued, respected and motivated, we improve engagement and align our efforts with business goals and future successes.

Do you have any pets?

Yes, Esther, a Mini Labradoodle named after my grandmother.

What is your favorite hobby to do outside of work?

I enjoy walking and hiking in nature, with the mountain hikes out west being my favorite. I’m also a big sports fan, especially of my M.S.U. Spartans! In addition to traveling, I love spending time with my dog, playing golf, reading, attending theatre performances and music concerts, geocaching, and working out at the G.V.S.U. Recreation Center.

What is something about you that people at work might not know about you?

I do not like balloons.

What is your favorite type of music? Who is your favorite artist/ band?

Rock. Selecting a favorite band is difficult, but if I had to pick a genre “Dad Rock” would be it.
