What are you most proud of in your career so far?

I am really proud of having earned 4 certifications in one year. Ann (Director of HR) and leadership supported me when I asked to go through testing prep classes. In 2020, I had spent MANY, MANY hours of class time, studying, and test taking to earn my PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, and SHRM-SCP certifications. My teacher told me that I was her first student to obtain all four certifications in one year. Without the support of God, OMTV, and my teacher, it never would have happened!

What is your favorite thing about working at OMT-Veyhl?

My favorite thing about OMT-Veyhl are the people I get to work with – super talented, supportive, the list goes on!

What does it mean to you to help the company?

I love the people that I work with and when I find a really great candidate to fill an opening or assist a current employee with a question or problem, it is rewarding to me.

What is your favorite hobby to do outside of work?

Reading and baking.

What’s your favorite food?

My favorite food is toast with apple butter.

What is your favorite type of music? Do you have a favorite artist or band? Favorite song?

My favorite band is Mountains in the Sea. Favorite song – tie between their songs Holy, Holy, Holy and Come What May.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Physical Therapist

What is something else about you that people at work might not know about you?

Fun Fact about me: I mill my own flour in order to bake my own bread from scratch.
