Janna PiersonCheck out our newest employee spotlight for Janna Pierson:

Creative Marketing Manager, Employee at OMT-Veyhl since 2016.

What do you love about your job?

I love taking something that’s unclear, confusing or just simply ugly and making it visually appealing and easy to understand. I love the struggle of “how can I make this into something that someone will pay attention to?”. I also absolutely love my team here at OMTV.

What does it mean to you to be able to help the company be successful?

For me, helping OMTV be successful is to make us look and sound appealing and knowledgeable, and to provide potential customers with the information they need to make the decision to work with us.

What are your hobbies outside of work?

I’m a foodie! I love trying new restaurants and fun foods, and I enjoy working out at the gym and hiking to try to balance out the food hobby. I also always have my nose in a book.

What is your top bucket list item?

Travel more. Right now top of my list is to see the Lake Como area, along with Switzerland and Austria.

What is your favorite food?

I like tons of different foods, but I suppose if I had to choose a last meal it would be a cheeseburger (but make it fancy with interesting toppings).

What job did you want to have growing up?

I always wanted to be some kind of designer. When I was really young I wanted to be a fashion designer, but quickly changed gears when I realized that I do not enjoy sewing.

What superpower do you wish you had?

Invisibility, no question. Because I’m sneaky like that.

What is something unique about you?

I think my taste in music might be on the atypical side for a 40-something mom. I love Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Stevie Ray Vaughan…and I’ve been listening to a lot of Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains again lately too. I don’t know what that says about me!

Favorite book or series?

This is a loaded question for a book nerd!! Historical Fiction is my favorite genre; The Alice Network and The Huntress are a couple of my recent all-time favorite reads. But I could go on and on about books…
