What do you love about your job?

The people I work with! I’m a strong believer that you have to enjoy your team in order to have fun at work, and I have a great team.

What does it mean to you to be able to help the company? 

The company has done a lot for me, so being able to give that back is rewarding. Also just seeing my efforts and my team’s efforts pay off is rewarding.

What does your day to day job look like? 

It absolutely varies from day to day and the time of the month. If we aren’t doing closing at month end, then I do a variety of tasks. Some examples include supporting my team (AR, AP, payroll), cash management, insurance, managing company vehicles, fielding question, etc. There’s a lot of random tasks included in the job!

What are your hobbies outside of work?

I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, spending time with family, and enjoy the summer weather just by being outside or at the pool.

What is your favorite movie?

I love Pirates of the Caribbean. Also the Proposal, Harry Potter, and the Marvel movies.

What is your favorite food?

If my husband didn’t cook, I’d probably be content just eating cereal. But, otherwise I’d have to say I like any Mexican dish.

What job did you want to have growing up?

A nurse.

What’s your favorite vacation you’ve ever been on?

Utah a couple years ago. It is one of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever seen. We did mid-Utah and over by Bryce Canyon. It was unbelievable hiking and felt like we were looking at a movie.

What is a pet peeve of yours?

Your vs. you’re!

What is something unique about you?

I have a degree in music. I went back to school later to become an accountant.
