A major financial institution in New York approached an industry-leading, New-York-based furniture manufacturer with a unique and time-sensitive project. It wanted to upgrade its existing desking infrastructure to be height adjustable. 

There was a catch, though: because the tabletops desks featured a unique power partition the firm had recently invested in and wanted to keep, there wasn’t an off-the-shelf solution that met their requirements. 

The manufacturer was unable to work around the power partition within its normal product development cycle and it was running out of time. 

Just as the project was beginning to feel undoable, it turned to OMT-Veyhl for assistance.

From a napkin sketch to a working prototype, OMT-Veyhl helped the manufacturer get the job done in just eight days. 

The firm selected a mounting bracket to be implemented with the existing partition, allowing it to connect to our height-adjustable table supports. The mounting bracket ended up being a scalable solution for the customer’s future needs and met the needs of several other products on the market.
