What is your favorite thing about your job at OMT-Veyhl?

My favorite thing about working at OMTV is that I have lots of favorites. I really enjoy working with all the amazing people around the building. I really like that I learn something new almost every day. I love the challenge of helping people with all the unusual problems that arise. I can even move my desk up and down! How cool is that?!

What does it mean to you to help OMT-Veyhl be successful?

If I want to help the company, I start by helping my coworkers. If I can make someone else’s job easier or faster, then that will hopefully allow them more time to work on other things that need doing…and there’s always something that needs doing.

What are you most proud of in your career so far? 

Even though I have a college degree in computer science, I’m pretty proud of the fact that 99% of my nerd skills come from real-world experience, success, failure, and not being afraid to try something new.

Which house are you in Hogwarts?

I Googled a few Harry Potter House tests. The internet tells me I should be in Gryffindor. This seems like a good thing.

What Netflix show are you obsessed with?

I can’t say that I’m obsessed with any Netflix shows, but I enjoy “The IT Crowd”. I’m pretty sure it’s a documentary.

If you could effortlessly pick up any skill in an instant, what would it be?

A skill I would love to pick up instantly would be playing the ukulele. I have one, and no clue what I’m doing with it.

Have you heard any good tips lately? 

Tip of the day: Always carry a fork with you. If someone tries to rob you, pull out the fork and say, “Thank you Lord for the meal I’m about to eat”. Then charge at them with the fork.
